And That Has Made All the Difference.

1. The Road Not Taken
TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;         5
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,         10
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.         15
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

~Robert Frost

Oh my dear Robert Frost. God bless you for writing the poetry you did. It thrills my very soul.

Today was beautiful. I started it out with coffee with Jill, worked for a few hours (Jill brought me food at work~ LOVE HER), and then came home to enjoy a relaxing Saturday afternoon.

(Do you think maybe we’re related? 😉 )

Exciting news: I ordered a new lens!!! My new Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 is on its journey to my doorstep. With my maternity shoot next week, I’m anxious to get my hands on it and figure out everything in its little body. Keep an eye out for new and better portraits, hopefully! I’m pondering a new 365…. Good idea? Or no? Leave a comment with your opinion!
